Free speed test
Measure how fast your website loads on mobile and desktop, using the same measurement Google uses.
Analyzing the page…
How fast is your website?
A slow website loses visitors before they have even seen your offer, and Google takes page experience into account when ranking pages. Our free speed test shows how your website performs on mobile and desktop. If you want it faster, we can help with web development and optimization. Also test your accessibility.
What does the speed test measure?
The test measures how fast the page loads and how stable it is while loading, on both mobile and desktop. The measurement is made with Google PageSpeed Insights, the same tool Google itself recommends for measuring website performance.
What are Core Web Vitals?
Core Web Vitals are Google's three metrics for perceived performance. LCP shows how quickly the largest content appears and should be at most 2.5 seconds. INP shows how quickly the page responds when you click and should be at most 200 milliseconds. CLS shows how much the content jumps around and should be at most 0.1.
Does speed affect ranking on Google?
Yes. Google uses Core Web Vitals as part of its assessment of page experience. Relevance of the content weighs most, but a fast and stable page gives an advantage when competing pages are otherwise equal, and it makes it easier for visitors to stay.
Why is the result worse on mobile?
The mobile test simulates a mid-range phone with a slower processor and network. That reflects how many visitors actually experience the page, and it is often where the biggest improvements are found.
Why do I get different results every time?
Load times are affected by server load, the network and content from other services, such as ads and analytics tools. Small differences between runs are normal. That is why the result should be seen as an estimate, not an exact value.
What does the test cost?
The test is free and requires no sign-up. If you want to know exactly what makes the page slow and how to fix it, we carry out a full performance analysis.
